The Problem
Although Magento discontinued support for Magento 1, the company’s eCommerce store was hosted on Magento 1. Strobels Supply saw this opportunity to migrate their website and decided to test BigCommerce and Magento 2. The Groove Commerce team was able to step in and help.

The Solution
To help Strobels Supply create an intuitive and scalable shopping experience, we converted their online store from Magento into BigCommerce. The BigCommerce platform was left to run itself, as the client’s website wasn’t particularly complex. However, we were able to understand some of the details that needed to be done.
Strobels Supply sells bulk products and has tons of products in their catalogue, so bulk imports were an essential part of this website migration. They were able to import their entire product catalogue using the search function. If products needed to be updated, our team made sure they could do so in BigCommerce’s back-end.
